Mental Health and Wellness Coordinator

We’re looking for someone to make a real and measurable impact to the improvement of mental health and wellbeing of our members and the community more broadly.
 
This role is based in our Geelong head office and is a 12 month parental leave contract, part time 3 to 4 days per week (0.6 to 0.8 FTE) with flexibility in hours.

About the Role
 
Using your experience and knowledge within mental health, you will develop and implement initiatives designed to promote and improve mental health for GMHBA members, General Practice patients and employees.  You will source, develop and implement mental health support tools and web content, collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, and support Prevention team programs as required.
 
About you
 
As the successful candidate, you'll need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:
    
Mandatory:
  • Relevant undergraduate and/or post graduate qualifications in a health-related discipline
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the mental health sector
  • Demonstrated experience in project or program coordination
  • Demonstrated stakeholder relationship engagement
  • Demonstrated high level of oral and written communication skills
